Ebay Orders 2.0.3 Release Notes

Ebay Orders 2.0.3 contains fixes and new features, It is recommended that you upgrade as soon as possible.
 

New Features

• Ebay Orders now supports receiving Marketplace account deletion notifications (GDPR related).Most users of the Ebay Orders module will be required to use the notification system or risk having their Ebay Developer account suspended. 

Fixes

1. From time to time the license status may switch to Invalid. This was caused by the recently added CRON job which may check in with the license server from time to time, but when doing so would not be able to pass the domain name of the site running the module. This is now resolved.
    

Upgrade Instructions

1. Delete the ebay_orders directory from your stores modules/plugins/ directory and replace it with the files found in the downloadable zip file.
2. IMPORTANT:Within the store admin area, Navigate to the "Manage Hooks" menu item, then "Ebay Orders" and press the button. This step enables a newly added hook to this version of the module. Failure to complete this step will prevent the notifications from being received.
3. To setup Ebay Account deletion notifications, from your Ebay Developer account:
   1. Naviate to Auth tokens for Ebay
   2. Select your Production keys
   3. click the Alerts & Notifications tab then select Marketplace Account Deletion
   4. Add a notification email address
   5. Set the following URL as the notification endpoint... NOTE: See the setup steps found at the bottom of the page within the General tab of the Ebay Orders module for the URL applicable to your store which you can copy/paste
   6. Copy and paste the following code into the Verification Token field: NOTE: See the setup steps found at the bottom of the page within the General tab of the Ebay Orders module for the unique token applicable to your store which you can copy/paste
   7. Save and send a test notification
4. Any applicable GDPR requests will appear over the following few days within a GPDR tab
   1. The tab only displays if there are accounts which need to be reviewed
   2. Ebay users who cannot be linked to any data in your store are skipped/hidden
   3. After initially setting up notifications, Ebay can send up to 1,500 notifications per day, covering all applicable account deletions since your Ebay Seller account was created. depending on the scale of your selling activity and age of your Ebay account you may have a large number of requests to review shortly after setting up this feature.
