Ebay Sales 2.0.0 Release Notes

Ebay Sales 2.0.0 Release Notes

Ebay sales 2.0.0 contains exciting new enhancements and minor bug fixes. It is recommended that you upgrade to 2.0.0 as soon as possible.

Issues resolved in 2.0.0

  1. The global setting to enforce image standards would not always save. This has been corrected.

  2. Changed the warning message which appears when duplicate product codes are found within product options. The previous message was incorrect.

  3. Fixed the layout issue with international shipping options. Adding multiple options would sometimes cause them to overlap.

  4. Fixed some general HTML issues with the recently added help icons. They were not always showing in the correct location.

New Features added in 2.0.0

  1. A new global setting has been added called "Use Disabled Inventory". This setting defaults to "Disabled". When this setting is Enabled you can list disabled CubeCart inventory on Ebay.

  2. A new global setting has been added called "Force Global % Increase". This setting defaults to 0. When configured with a value greater than 0 all prices will be marked up by the specified %. The base price is your standard retail price. This setting can be overridden at the inventory level.  Using this setting will override any fixed prices you have configured.

  3. A new option is available within the inventory configuration screen called "Mark up CubeCArt price by Fixed Value". This new value is only used when either the global % increase is enabled or you are increasing the specific items price by a percent as configured within the inventory itself. The new fixed value field will be added to your retail price before any increases in percentage are applied.  This has been added as a way to include your shipping cost within the product whilst also dynamically updating your selling price using a percentage increase. You can then offer free shipping knowing your shipping cost is included in the product price.

  4. two new options have been added to the inventory configuration screen called "Use Domestic Rate Table" and "Use International Rate Table". These default to off.  When enabled any configured shipping options are disregarded and your Ebay shipping rate table is used. Shipping rate tables must be configured within your ebay account.

  5. Added a new global setting called "Include Items Without Inventory Control".  This setting defaults to Disabled. When enabled it allows you to list your inventory that does not use stock control (stock levels). With this setting enabled it is assumed that you have 99999 items in stock and your maximum quantity to list will be applied during the listing process.
