Ebay Sales 3.0.1 Release Notes
Ebay sales 3.0.1 is a major update which contains fixes, enhancements and new features. It is recommended that you upgrade to 3.0.1 as soon as possible.
New Features in 3.0.1
- A new global setting has been added which allows you to choose if you want to link to the images on your store or upload your images to the Ebay image hosting service. Using self hosted images should improve the amount of time it takes to list a larger quantity of inventory.
- A new tab has been added called "Active Listings". Within this tab you will find a list of all of your active inventory on Ebay. From this new page you can also manually end an item by clicking the red X icon.
Enhancements in 3.0.1
- Improvements have been made to item specifics. Some item specifics allow for multiple values to be selected. Where this is allowed a list of all possible options is presented. Select as many as required.
- The "Enforce Image Standards" setting has been removed as Ebay will raise any issues with images during the validation process.
Issues resolved in 3.0.1
- When using a HTML template with a listing you may get an SQL error in your store error logs when listing an item. This has been resolved.
- An issue with errors in the Ebay error log of "Missing required version" has been resolved. This isue was preventing the live update of the ebay listing under some scenarios.
- International & Domestic rate table selections did not get respected when sending items to the live Ebay site. this has been corrected and now works correctly
- After selecting a category and saving an error would be added to the CubeCart error log caused by the imported category information from Ebay. This has been corrected.
Upgrade Instructions
- Delete the ebay_sales directory from your stores modules/plugins/ directory and replace it with the 3.0.1 files found in the downloadable zip file.
- Navigate to the module via the admin area and go to the "Global Settings" tab and configure your image hosting preferences
