Ebay Sales 3.0.4 Release Notes

Ebay sales 3.0.4 contains fixes, enhancements and new features. It is recommended that you upgrade to 3.0.4 as soon as possible.

New Features

1. If your listing is a variation listing, you can now link a product option value to a specific image. When the customer selects a different option on the Ebay site the image will dynamically change to match the option.

Enhancements

1. The underlying code used to control the "Push To Ebay" tab has been discarded and re-written from scratch. This improves the listing process ensujring that the items on the push to Ebay tab respects listing constraints correctly.
    
2. The underlying code used to end listings automatically has been discarded and re-written from scratch. Much like the push to Ebay tab, this process now respects a greater number of constraints
    
3. The push to Ebay tab has had some columns turned into links. From this screen you can now visit the product category (Applies filter), the Ebay inventory configuration screen or the store inventory screen.
    
4. If the store URL changed or the URL to the admin area changed the module may have required a reset to update a cached link. This has been resolved and the cached link is no longer used by the module which resolves this potential issue.

Issues resolved

1. The push to Ebay tab may exclude items which were valid based on option configuration. This has been fixed as part of enhancement #1 mentioned above.
    
2. Some items may have been ended by the automated process when they shouldn't have been. This is addressed by Enhancement #2
    
3. Some items may not have been ended by the automated process when they should have been. This is addressed by Enhancement #2
    
4. A variety of PHP warnings have been addressed in the source code, reducing warnings being written to the server error log
    
5. On some stores running CubeCart 6.1.3 or newer you may receive a CSRF error when trying to update inventory. This has been resolved
    
6. The Ebay validation process contained a glitch which would sometimes cause the listing process to report an image upload failure when in reality it had worked correctly. This has been patched.

Upgrade Instructions

1. Delete the ebay_sales directory from your stores modules/plugins/ directory and replace it with the 3.0.4 files found in the downloadable zip file.
    
2. If you use variation listings you may wish to review your inventory and configure the new option image map feature.
