Ebay Sales 4.0.5 Release Notes
Ebay sales 4.0.5 contains fixes, improvements and new features. It is recommended that you upgrade as soon as possible. This release contains a break-fix to port some functionality to a new API as Ebay phased out the older methods, thus any versions of Ebay Sales before this release may face problems with categories being searchable or item specifics being made available for use.
Issues resolved
- In some cases the update of cached Ebay data may exclude Payment Profiles. this can cause an issue with importing newly created profiles on Ebay. this is now resolved.
- The Lb's and Oz conversion of weight would over estimate the weights which can cause issues with Ebay calculated shipping rates. this has been corrected.
Improvements
- Content in the error log now is purged once older than 5 days. the scheduled CRON job now handles this task rather than interactive
- Added additional database indexes and refinements to help with UI performance on larger stores
- No longer log token expire and refresh notices in the Error Log.
New Features
- Item specifics are now revised as part of item revisions.
- Added support for product dimensions when listing and revising inventory.
- Note: Due to Ebay limitations, dimensions are always sent to Ebay as Inches and are rounded up to the nearest inch.
Upgrade Instructions
- Delete the ebay_sales directory from your stores modules/plugins/ directory and replace it with the files found in the downloadable zip file.
