Ebay Sales 4.0.5 Release Notes
Ebay sales 4.0.5 contains fixes, improvements and new features. It is recommended that you upgrade as soon as possible. This release contains a break-fix to port some functionality to a new API as Ebay phased out the older methods, thus any versions of Ebay Sales before this release may face problems with categories being searchable or item specifics being made available for use.
Issues resolved
- Item specific free text inputs may be hidden when they should not be. This has been corrected.
Improvements
- Category searching functionality has been ported to a new Ebay API
- The way in which Item Specifics are obtained has been ported to the new API
- Item Specific lists now use a new method for selecting methods (Chosen) to make the searching and selection of recommendations easier
- Note: When listing an item configured on an earlier release of Ebay Sales, you may get errors or warnings related to item specifics. If you do, search for the same category, select it and re-configure the item specifics to resolve the error. This is caused by the way the data is stored differently for item specifics between versions.
Upgrade Instructions
- Delete the ebay_sales directory from your stores modules/plugins/ directory and replace it with the files found in the downloadable zip file.
