Europe VAT 1.0.16 Release Notes
Europe VAT 1.0.16 contains enhancements. It is recommended that you upgrade to 1.0.16 as soon as possible.
Enhancements
- The customer control panel page, within which the customer can update their own VAT number was hard coded into the module. This made it difficult to style for a number of store themes. With this release the page layout is now derived from a template file which is contained within the module itself. It template file uses smarty and is found in the Europe_VAT/_template_files directory of the module. The file can be manually revised to change the look and feel of the page and make it more suited to your own theme.
Upgrade Instructions
- Delete the Europe_VAT directory from your stores modules/plugins/ directory and replace it with the 1.0.16 files found in the downloadable zip file.
- Review the customer control panel page layout to validate the default template works for your store. You may need to revise the template to match your own theme as part of this update.
