Europe VAT 1.0.23 Release Notes
Europe VAT 1.0.23 contains fixes and enhancements. It is recommended that you upgrade as soon as possible.
Fixes
- Fixed a defect in the hook to merge tax rates together to a single line item. it now works correctly for non VAT customers
Enhancements
- For an unknown reason, from time to time the saved vISO country code value may get reset. to combat this the way in which the setting is saved has been changed and now comes directly from the database rather than CubeCart configuration. The ISO textbox has also been changed to a drop down list to make it easier to find the correct country.
Upgrade Instructions
- If you have made modifications to the TEMPLATE FILE found in __template_files take a backup of this file before moving to step 2
- Delete the "europe_vat" directory found in /modules/plugins/ and replace it with the directory found in the downloaded ZIP file
- IMPORTANT Review the module configuration, define your country code. Failure to add this will stop the module from working correctly. Make sure the correct value is selected.
- If you took a backup of a custom TEMPLATE FILE, put this back into the _template_files directory, overwrite the existing file.
